JB Hi-Fi’s net income grew in the half year ended December 31, thanks to higher sales bolstered by Black Friday and Boxing Day promotions. The consumer electronics retailer’s net income climbed 8 per cent year over year to $285.4 million as sales jumped 9.8 per cent to $5.67 billion.
