Shogo Onodera transforms existing surfaces in Tokyo boutique to "avoid making anything new"

Marble covered with plaster and metal treated with acid are among the repurposed materials used by Japanese architect Shogo Onodera to minimise waste while fitting out the flagship store of fashion brand IZA Tokyo. Herringbone parquet flooring, for example, was used to create a minimalist artwork displayed on one of the walls.
