The two-level retailspace was designed by BoND following the studio's work on the PatBo headquarters in Manhattan , which opened last year. Overhead are a pair of oversized silk flowers by artist Hana Form , which also appear on the ground floor suspended through the staircase void.
Floors throughout the retailspace are made from green stone in two shades, which is laid in a pattern resembling Japanese tatami mats. A dramatic staircase is a focalpoint. The store features curved walls inside. Stone floors mimic tatami mats.
The see-through steps eliminates the blockiness of the central staircase, allowing faintly visible scenes behind to show, making it the visual focalpoint on this level. The contour of the atrium echoes the inclined shape of the facade to create a conversation between the interiors and the exterior.
