Light is central to the design ethos, and an oculus light fitting diffuses tranquillity throughout the store, illuminating the elegant curves and archways that define and separate the spaces, making it easy for customers to explore and engage with the brand.

Google Store's interior features warm materials and lighting. At one point the tiles dip inwards to form a small nook where passersby on the street can sit. Pale marble has been used again here to cover the floor and to form a screen which obscures the staircase leading down to the basement. Each of them is backlit with bright-white strip lights.
