Design studio Halleroed has used travertine podiums to display sneakers like sculptures in the Paris store of streetwear label Axel Arigato. Axel Arigato's Paris store is dotted with travertine display plinths. Walls and floors are finished in raw concrete while overhead, a punctured grid ceiling conceals the store's lighting system.

The intention is to "re-awaken visitors to the childlike wonder found in the technology and digital innovation on display", the statement said. Around the store, a thin black metal line traces a fluid path, drawing the eye between the various product displays.

We have been creating a series of store designs for Neal’s Yard Remedies across the UK (and beyond) over several years and in March 2016 our latest store design was revealed at Peacemarsh in Gillingham, Dorset , on the site of the brand’s ‘eco factory’.

Installed in Selfridge's first-floor menswear department for 12 months, the topsy-turvy pop-up store is a departure from the stone displays and pared-back colour palette ordinarily associated with the Swedish streetwear label 's retail environments. The Axel Arigato shop-in-shop is located in Selfridges.
