To celebrate its popular Le Cagole bag, which references Balenciaga's maximalist It Bags of the past, and launch the line's collection of accessories and shoes, the entire interior of the store has been covered in fur. Balenciaga's Mount Street store was lined in faux fur. Pink faux fur was used across the walls, floors and surfaces.

Exotic plants line the windows. The flooring is a monochrome terrazzo, created by hand-placing fragments of locally sourced lava stone, while the display hangers and checkout counter are a bronze-toned metal. Coloured display stands are created from pigmented concrete. There are only a few splashes of colour.

Established in Oslo, Norway in 2001, XXL offers a wide selection of sports gear in its large-scale stores. It’s also used in more functional applications, such as information displays and as a glyph to denote price reductions. A bespoke typeface, XXL Sans, has been designed in line with the triangle motif.

The 488-square-metre store is the first freestanding Hermès outlet in Tokyo since the brand opened its Ginza emporium in 2001, which was also designed by RDAI. As the store could have traditional window displays RDAI chose to wrap the building's base in a geometric screen made from pieces of copper-coloured stainless steel.

The studio also linked the shape of Nodaleto 's signature heels to chairs featured in Stanley Kubrick's film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Shoes are displayed on white shelves in front of brushed chrome panels. The store space – in line with brand's creative tone – strives to induce the experience of contemporary luxury.".
